Right Now, I Would Have No Trust Either!

Brandon Marshall is having trust issues with the Broncos organization, according to reports all over the web! The latest spin is with the Public Relations Jr. Staffer coaching team mates of Brandon to not show enthusiasm for his acquittal of charges in Atlanta over a what was deemed a scuffle with his fiance.

This is speculation, but I really do not think Jr. Staffers will go about doing things on their own. They are generally a "Jump - How High" type of characters. And with the new regime in place all over the Blue and Orange facility, either you're a team player, or you're out the door!

It's a shame that this organization continually stains itself with negative criticisms continually throughout 2009. I do not recall so much self inflicted wounds on my beloved Broncos as I've seen this year! The last MAJOR controversy prior to 2009 was when Clinton Portis wanted out of Denver, and we ended up with Champ Bailey. We had the little spat with Bobby Humphrey years before we won the two Super Bowls. And then there was Dan Reeve's signing Tommy Maddux to replace John Elway. This year blows all of those controversies combined away by ten fold!

This league is a business, we hear that time and again from the head office, the coaches, and players. Everyone is going to do what's best for themselves. But to have a successful business you have to have trust. Without trust, there is nothing but distractions and confusion. That's what you see happening with the Denver Broncos. For this argument, I have to agree with Brandon.
